};I'm Absolom Orianga, a software developer based in Kampala, Uganda, with a strong interest in AI & Machine Learning, cybersecurity and DevOps. I build security-conscious, full-stack web applications and AI-powered products using modern, scalable technologies — and I genuinely enjoy turning hard problems into clean, dependable products.
I studied at Uganda Christian University and I'm an active open-source contributor (earning GitHub badges like Pull Shark and Pair Extraordinaire along the way). Whether it's a firewall, a finance tracker, or a streaming movie app, I care about writing software that is fast, maintainable and safe.
Lately, most of my curiosity sits at the intersection of AI/ML and secure engineering — building and integrating LLM-powered assistants and chatbots, working with model APIs and retrieval-augmented (RAG) pipelines, and exploring how machine learning can strengthen threat detection and anomaly analysis in real systems.

Machine Learning
An end-to-end ML system that forecasts unit sales 28 days ahead for any product-and-store pair, trained on the M5/Walmart dataset (3,049 products × 10 stores, 59M rows). A tuned LightGBM model is served through a FastAPI backend into a React dashboard for stocking decisions.
React
The UI for a hardware-store management system covering inventory, stock movements and point-of-sale. Built with React, Vite and React Router, with JWT authentication and role-based dashboards for admins, managers and staff.
A movie discovery application built with TypeScript, letting users browse, search and explore films through a fast, responsive interface.
A personal finance management app for tracking income, expenses and budgets, with a clean interface that makes managing money simple.
A collaborative firewall project focused on network security and traffic filtering, built as a team effort to enforce safe access rules.
